NEWS: ‘Puss In Boots’ raises thousands for local groups!

Pantomime is a ‘fun for all’ experience, but here at Monday Night Group we do things a little differently. All the profit from performing pantomime, we dish out to local groups and charities all for a good cause. Whether that money go towards a cricket set for a local cub scout group, a defibrillator for a health charity, or the obligatory coach trip to Weston-Super-Mare for a friendship club, it all goes towards helping hundreds of people within the Wyre Forest area.

On Wednesday the 10th of May we had our annual ‘giveaway evening’ held at the Civic Hall in Stourport. From our 2017 panto, ‘Puss In Boots’, we were able to raise a massive £26,250 to 96 groups. This was our biggest amount yet. We at MNG are grateful for the ongoing support from every single one of you who came along to watch and take part in the extravaganza that was ‘Puss In Boots’, as without you paying for your tickets and putting ‘bums on seats’, we wouldn’t have been able to donate such a massive amount of money back into the local community.

I hope everyone who came to see ‘Puss In Boots’ had an enjoyable time, and please come along to support us again when we perform our 2018 panto ‘Aladdin’ in January 2018! Tickets are available now via our ticket page. Get in early to guarantee the best seats! Come and experience a whole new world.

Thanks again.
