The Monday Night Group is saddened to report that its founder and our inspiration – Alan Green – suddenly and tragically died at his home in early July. He was with his close companion and partner Martin Winfield who also tragically died with him.
The group is shocked and saddened by these events. However, the best tribute we can do for Alan is to perform our 50th anniversary pantomime – Cinderella – in January 2016. We know Alan was very much looking forward to directing the show and we want to present this in his memory.
Many of you knew Alan personally and we are sure you will miss him and Martin as much as we do. We will keep you updated with news via our website and Facebook. Tickets for Cinderella will be on sale very soon and we hope you can join us in being part of our best pantomime ever in the memory of Alan and Martin.
Our sympathies and thoughts are with Alan and Martin’s family and friends at this sad time.
